| David Drufke and I met up for an afternoon of watching the eagles on the Minnesota River near his house. Hard to believe sometimes this place is in a major metropolitan area. After a quick moving clipper system dropped through the area in the early morning hours with a couple inches of fresh snow, the skies broke for a little bit improving the light conditions. Unfortunately by the time I arrived, the clouds had filled back in. It was also nice to meet Chad Gustafson this afternoon. | One of the few times an eagle actually caught it's own fish. Usually the eagles wait for a gull to catch a fish and drop it back on the ice. Kinda like fast food for eagles. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
