Once the main tornado finally roped out and I thought it was dead, it came back again!  The rotation at the ground was actually pretty good for a couple of minutes.
Just to add a little darma, I had been cautiously watching the area to the southeast for new development as the old tornado looked like it was going to finally die.  This whispy funnel quickly formed overhead and had us moving back east to get out of the way just in case.
Cailyn keeps an eye on the storm as we watch from Wendell, MN.  The storm had gone outflow dominant at this point but provided some wild motion as a mini chaser convergence commenced.
After adding a couple of new hail dents while skirting the core northwest of Alexandria, MN, nothing more that a shelf cloud and modest winds were left of the storm as the tornado warnings were allow to expire and a servere warning took over.
Stayed out in front of the storm until Clearwater, MN on the Stearns / Wright county lines.
All in all it was a very interesting storm.  For a day where the tornado potential was margial, it sure played out in a good way.
