June 27
Wright County Minnesota
With super cold air aloft and some daytime heating, some small powerful storms raced off to the southeast along and just south of the I-94 corridor.
Melinda and I headed southwest of town to watch the third of three cells come racing down from the northwest at 50 mph.
Despite the messy updraft, the cell still managed a couple of 50 mph wind gusts.  We even saw it take down a mailbox!
Cell takes on a very shelfy appearance and drops some small hail as a last hurrah.
