Michelle Parker and I met up with Dave Drufke and Tony Perkins in Jackson, MN later in the afternoon.  The cap once again was rock solid until near dark.  Nice outflow storms with intense C to C lightning as they dropped into Iowa.

Linear base of previously tornado warned storm coming out of Jackson County

Cold outflow getting caught into the leading edge of the linear storm.  It had a meso and shear marker on it but obviously no tornado chance.

The lightning was very intense.  At times it was like watching something through a strobe light!  Enough to make you dizzy!
