With a diffuse line of storms approaching from the
west, a few small intense cells blew up in fromt of the
main line providing some stunning lightning. All photos
are from about 5 miles west of Buffalo, MN.
Underside of the updraft base looking to the north east.
This cell was easily popping 10-12 strikes per minute.
One last look before heading back home to bed as the main
line of storms moves in and cuts off the view.
